A former Deputy District Attorney with more than twenty-five years experience, Professor Bruce earned his law degree from the University of San Francisco and his PhD in Legal and Constitutional History from the University of Texas. He has lectured at the University of Texas and currently serves on the faculty at Sonoma State University, Santa Rosa Junior College and College of Marin where he specializes in teaching courses in American history and race in American culture. He has authored articles and a manuscript on civil liberties while delivering presentations advocating on behalf of those persecuted by the government. Supported by state-of-the-art research technology, Bruce has successfully handled more than 5,000 cases.
